Service Description: Tanks are rated on a number of criteria to establish a score using an algorithm developed by EPA's Region 6 staff that rates a tank's likelihood of leaking and the level of risk to the surrounding community if it does. The highest ranked tank (most risky) from each facility is used for that facility. Tanks are inspected at least every three years, and risks are recalculated weekly if there is new data.
